When To Aerate Your Lawn

To ensure the best results for your lawn, aerating and fertilising should be conducted twice a year. This gives your soil the best chance of absorbing vital nutrients and water, which fosters the development of a healthy lawn. Aeration is best conducted after rain or once your irrigation system has moistened the soil. A hard compact surface is difficult to aerate and may produce poor results.

Applying fertiliser without aerating the surface may limit success as the nutrients need to be able to seep down into the soil beneath the grass. As well as aeration, we also offer a variety of general lawn services to help you create the perfect outdoor space, including mowing, slashing, trench digging, pruning and more.
